Product Description

Autolite 386 Copper Resistor Spark Plug

Features & Benefits

  • Ceramic insulator structure minimizes voltage tracking under strain
  • Copper electrode core assists heat flow during extended combustion exposure
  • Flashover protection helps maintain smooth combustion stability
  • Terminal stud provides a secure path for high-voltage transfer

Autolite Spark Plug

The Autolite Spark Plug’s resistor-type design incorporates a heat-fused glass composite seal that provides EMI control and a 100-percent gas-tight seal, ensuring consistent performance even during extended ignition system use. The nickel-plated shell resists corrosion in damp or contaminated environments, while the copper-core center electrode moderates thermal spikes generated during continuous combustion. Additionally, the high-nickel alloy ground electrode extends service life by resisting chemical wear. Together, these features make the Autolite 386 ideal for engines that require stable spark performance over prolonged operating cycles.
