Although the finditparts.com web site implies that this is a matching interchange part for the elusive 1960-early 62 Ranchero upper ball joint, it does not fit. The 3-bolt pattern dimensions don't match, and the tapered stud size is larger than the required 7/16". This is a great web site and a great source of parts, but it appears that there is a misdirection concerning this particular part. The vendor graciously granted a refund, so I have no reason to fault the vendor but am disappointed that no one is apparently making any of the interchange parts for this application. Just trying to help.
